Spoof to Promote OSPCA Fundraiser

Paws for the Cause is a dog fashion show and cocktail party in support of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA).

To drive ticket sales and social media promotion of the event, we made quite a splash with a (nearly-NFSW) spoof of the iconic “Save the Boobs” viral video.

Our 1-minute comedic short stars well-know Executive Chef Cory Vitiello of the Harbord Room with cameo’s by a high-profile cast of Toronto media personalities, including Morad Reid Affifi (King West Magazine), Anita Clarke (I Want – I Got) Mosha Lundström Halbert (Flare Magazine), Jen McNeely (She Does The City), Tatiana Read (Knot PR), JJ Thompson (The Compendium Daily), Amy Verner (The Globe and Mail) and Wilder Weir (Corus Entertainment).

Led by KnotPR and Event Founder Laura Serra (Social Page Editor for the Globe and Mail), the influential group lent their support in promotion of the video and event in social media, driving a big increase in ticket sales.
